As you may already know, the default "Backup" app on the Palm Pre isn't all that reliable. Most times it wont backup new contacts and usually wont backup daily as it claims its supposed to do. With this method you can be sure that all your data is safe. I recommend doing this at least two times a week.
first you need to have webOS Quick Install (WOSQI). Next, connect your Pre in DevMode and choose "Just Charge". In WOSQI at the top, click "Tools", "Recieve File", and choose where you want to save your backup data. Now click "Get From Device". Thats all you have to do.
